Hampton Ford Hyundai's Seacoast Collision Center and Wholesale Annex is Powered by the Sun

At Hampton Ford Hyundai we know that our sustainability over nearly 35 years in business comes from the knowledge and professionalism of our staff, and our ability to keep costs low for our customers. To us, investing in renewable local energy means we can keep our own costs down and make a positive contribution to our community and environment, so since July of 2017 we have stepped up our sustainable practices by offsetting a portion of our electrical usage with solar panels. We worked with Brentwood, NH-based ReVision Energy to install a 97.44 kilowatt grid-tied solar electric system.

When the sun is shining, the 348 solar panels on the roof of our dealership produce electricity that is either used in real-time by our facility, or fed back to the grid where it benefits our community (and earns us a credit). Each year, the system will generate roughly 98,087 kilowatt-hours (kWhs) of electricity, offsetting the equivalent of over 7 homes' electricity use for one year.
